Nikki is the walking definition of a “hot mess” — late to drop-off, forgot the lunchbox, eyeliner from 2019 — and this show finally answers the question: “Why is she like this?”

This hilariously dark yet heartfelt hour tells the true(ish) story of growing up in a crime family, running away with the circus, marrying (and divorcing) a bikie, and making ends meet as a stripper — all before becoming a mum.

It’s like an episode of Underbelly, but with more punchlines and less prison time.
